The entire site will be unavailable for several hours this afternoon while the Web Team carry out essential maintenance and upgrades. We hope to be back online by 7pm.

The site appears to be running very slowly this evening. We are unable to find a cause of this problem but have reported it to our server engineers to investigate.

We are aware of server problems with our hosting company which again caused downtime of the site last night. This morning, Tuesday, access to the site appears to be intermittent. We are hoping they will be resolving these issues soon, and in the meantime have expressed our concern at the increasing amount of downtime.

We experienced some website downtime today, lasting several hours. This was due to problems experienced by the hosting company that was out of our control. Normal service has now been resumed and we apologise for any inconvenience caused.

We are aware of a problem where the website is intermittently unavailable. Users may see 'frozen' pages or 'script time-out' error messages. Our hosting company have confirmed this is a fault with one of their servers and their engineers are working to resolve the problem.
(Update 10/01/08, 19:36) - The engineers report they have fixed the problem and there should be no further issues.

We are experiencing intermittent problems with the servers timing out today (Sunday). We have reported this problem to our hosting company who are looking into the matter. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
(Update 06/01/08, 19:02) The servers appear to be working correctly, although our hosting engineers are still looking into the problem.
