Kenni back at Brough today and looking super fit.
Newcastle Sapphire Engineering Diamonds top man, Kenni Larsen, was at Brough Park today eagerly anticiapting the start of the new season.
Kenni, who arrived back on Tyneside last night, called in at the Newcastle Stadium this afternoon to lend his support to the frantic track work going on to try and get the track ready for Sunday's practice session.
Kenni met up with Diamonds directors, Andrew Dalby, Darryl Illingworth and George English and praised the work being carried out by the clubs small band of willing volunteers when he said 'the track is still very wet but I expected it to be that way having heard all about the bad weather here over the last 3 months.'
'I'm sure it will be sorted out given just a few days dry weather, the work that has been done already is amazing'
Larsen also revealed that he has shed 13lbs in weight in readiness for the new season compared to his riding weight of last season and he certainly impressed everyone who saw him at Brough today.
Kenni will be at a Danish training camp in Stoke on Friday and Saturday along with team mate Rene Bach before the duo head to Brough to spend Sunday and Monday with their Sapphire Engineering Diamonds colleagues.
